Valerie Floeter has her Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and worked twenty-five years as a software engineer. She earned her Master of Church Music degree (organ emphasis) in 2002 from Concordia University of Wisconsin and started composing at that time. She has published over 300 sacred pieces for piano, organ, and instruments. Valerie teaches piano and organ, accompanies a children's choir, plays organ at her congregation, and does concert work with trumpeter, Dr. Patricia Backhaus. Together they have recorded six CD's. She and her husband Alan live near Waukesha, Wisconsin.
